DGB trade unions and the Ruhrfestspiele kick off the festival together with culture and politics at the culture fair (Kulturvolksfest) on the hill. As always, the most beautiful spring festival in the region offers something for everyone. It begins at noon outside and inside the Ruhrfestspielhaus. Children and families will find lots of fun activities to get moving and grooving: the adventure land “Kinder stark machen” (“Empowering children”) by the Federal Center for Health Education in cooperation with the StadtSportVerband Recklinghausen e. V. and the DROB; the climbing garden and play mobile of the Falkenfamilie Recklinghausen; the engaging activities of Herwig-Blankertz Berufskolleg. Feel free to join in a number of other surprises
