Murat Mahmutyancoğlu is known for making the voices of Istanbul resound on stage. The thoughts of women, men, the elderly and children: What makes them hurt, angry, sad and stunned. We hear the voices and sounds from a seemingly peaceful family apartment, the sound of the so-called common people. "Chorus of Fear" is a polyphonic piece with two actors*. The inaudible thoughts and the screams of the neighbors: doors slam, windows shake, but also hearts break.
In Turkish with German surtitles.
