Eva Mattes, who can be seen in a production at the Theater an der Ruhr for the second time this season, is an outstanding actress and artist. She became famous in the 1970s through her collaboration with director Rainer Werner Fassbinder and has since made a name for herself in numerous theatre, film and television productions.
