With "Don Giovanni", Mozart and his librettist Lorenzo da Ponte painted a multi-layered portrait of the charismatic anti-hero Don Juan two years before the outbreak of the French Revolution. In her production, director Karoline Gruber focuses on the seduced women who ultimately join forces against Don Giovanni.
