The play begins with a knock at the door - the same door that slammed shut fifteen years earlier when Nora walked out the door at the end of Ibsen's play Nora or a Doll's House. After leaving her husband and children, she has become a successful feminist writer. Now she has returned to obtain her husband's signature for a final divorce. Nora is questioned by family members and the accusations just rain down on her - from her husband, children and even the nanny. A play about the rules of society, gender issues, freedom, responsibility and the self.
