In the midst of the dark season, the laboratory kitchen Nuklear Nektar opens its projected screen to oscillating sounds. What at first glance may appear to be a simple bar turns out, as darkness falls, to be a condensed space of light and meandering shadows. The immersive installation with its sculptural artefacts invites visitors to linger and explore together. Drinks mixed from carefully prepared glass flasks and misty stills – prepared from unknown essences and viscous drops – entice visitors into chance conversations and encounters. The laboratory kitchen sees itself as a temporary experimental arrangement in which the everyday is subverted. Over the course of the night, it can become a melting pot, a resonance chamber between rhythm and reflection. Nuclear Nectar is only fully open on certain days.
