Orlando

Quick Info

He/him, she/her, no pronouns – this question has been asked for at least 400 years. Orlando is born as the son of a traditional noble family in the 16th century, awakens after a week-long sleep as a woman and from then on lives as a member of the opposite sex – until the present day in 1928, when Virginia Woolf published her most famous novel. Having become a cult book, Orlando stands for a revolution of the sexes in which there is only one constant: the desire to transform oneself. With acting students from the Folkwang University of the Arts.
