On September 7th from 16:00 the VolXbühne - the Bürgerbühne at the Theater an der Ruhr - Open Air starts the new season with an exquisite line up - i.e.: 4 great bands - small food and drinks!

16:00 - 17:00

LUXUS FLUXUS

The two UFO pilots Camatta and Eisold perform some daring maneuvers, loops and steep turns in the drum and percussion cosmos in their LUXUS FLUXUS class flying object. They have invited the melodic flight attendant Maximilian Wehner on the golden trombone to soothe the parabolas.

KRAZY + RADEK

Krazy - singer, songster, author, bohemienne, who in 30 years of professional life has moved from the pedestrian zone to the pubs to stages and many strange places, presents her own program, which is characterized by linguistically precise texts and marginal perspectives. From Olympus to the Orcus and back again (“so far”). She will be accompanied by violinist Radek Stawarz (e.g. Schauspiel Köln, Zirkus Roncalli, RTO Ehrenfeld).

VESNA/Mariana Sadovska

VESNA's music is characterized by acoustic beats, electronic soundscapes and intense vocal art. For their songs, the trio draws on Ukrainian traditionals, which are given an original overhaul by Christian Thomé's orchestral drumming, Markus Braun's filigree sound design and Mariana Sadovska's relentless vocal art. Their live performances straddle all genre boundaries, conjuring up archaic worlds and interweaving rhythms, harmonies and lyrics to create a unique musical storytelling. Their brand new program “To learn from the light” is based on contemporary poetry from Ukraine - oscillating between raw sounds and delicate voices.

19:30 - 20:45

LinaBó

LinaBó are currently one of the most exciting new discoveries in German music. Their songs take you on their own journey, carried by Celina's very touching voice and sounds that move between South American exoticism and German retro pop. In which role models such as ZAZ or Manu Chao resonate just as much as Celina's Cuban roots, which are full of cosmopolitanism and curiosity, dare to dream and at the same time do not close their eyes to reality. And they always contain a pinch of craziness, plenty of good vibes and, most importantly, lots of love.
