The SCHAUFENSTER is a walk-in sound and light space. Originally created by musician and theatre-maker Dimitri de Perrot and composer and architect Li Tavor for the Zurich region, it is now travelling to Germany for the first time and will take up residence in Recklinghausen's Stadtgarten. Here, between the trees and paths of the park - in the immediate vicinity of the colourful hustle and bustle of the festival tent - the sound installation picks up the sounds of the surroundings and transforms them into the interior of the SCHAUFENSTER. Visitors who enter find themselves in a resonating space that captures and reinterprets life outside.
