Two artists, two disciplines, two artistic styles: with “SYMBIOSIS”, Kolja Huneck and Luuk Brantjes create a circus experience that combines very different elements. The symbiosis that gives the show its title becomes a living process: juggling and spinning board merge into a choreographic dialog between artists, object, materials, and space. Luuk Brantjes turns the spinning board, typically used by at least two people, into his solo instrument. He balances with daring precision, plunging headfirst into the depths, challenging not only gravity but also the conventions of his art form.
