We cordially invite families and their children to the Open Foyer of the Theater an der Ruhr on five different dates. Open Foyer means that we open up our common areas for families and redesign them especially for this purpose.
The result is an exciting and creative program in which children can try out their skills in a playful way.
Our theater café is open for adults at the same time and in the same place.
Open foyer, open schedule: you come and go as you please during the specified period.
Admission is free.

Spring Workshop
Sun 31 May, 2.30–5.00 pm
Together with the children, we’ll explore spring with all our senses. We’ll build, craft and create – using colours, natural materials and spring-themed fantasy figures to produce little works of art and big ideas. We’re particularly looking forward to building insect hotels, which the children will paint and personalise. A colourful afternoon full of imagination, shared ideas and spring-themed surprises.
