Bringing generations together through the power of dance: while we surprise young children with an impromptu kindergarten dance performance in “Between the Pages”, the dancers of Sauf le dimanche also visit the elderly with “Ballade.” They bring lightness and joy of dance to a senior citizens’ residence and invite the elders to watch or participate in quiet, enjoyable moments. This interactive performance is suited for every form of mobility.Now we would like to combine both projects. We are looking for a primary school class in Recklinghausen that would like to be enchanted by “Between the Pages” on May 7 and then get active themselves in a dance workshop. We are also looking for a retirement home in Recklinghausen that would like to host “Ballade” on May 8 and 9. On the last day, we want all participants, whatever their age, to come together. The elementary school class will visit the retirement home to dance, share joy, and create beautiful memories.
