Quick Info
Criticism is everywhere, everything is constantly being evaluated: clothes, hair, music, movies, travel... Whether online or on stage, we evaluate others, sometimes without even realizing it, and are “rated” ourselves. The Critics’ Club is about the art of formulating criticism in a conscious, fair, and well-founded manner. In this club, participants practice forming judgments, questioning them, and turning observations into good reports. Together, we attend theater performances, discuss our impressions, and produce our own contributions: texts, podcasts, short videos, or social media posts. Step by step, we develop a feel for the craft of journalism, different media formats, and our own view of the stage. We conduct interviews with actors and directors, take a look at the audience, and discuss different theater genres. Together, we let the stage ignite a spark!
