Magnificent Opera Moments
This gala benefit in aid of the German Red Cross is always a special event in the social life of the city of Duisburg each year. This will be the 16th occasion on which the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and Theater Duisburg join forces with the DRK-Kreisverband Duisburg e. V. To present a celebratory concert whose proceeds will all go exclusively towards social projects run by the Duisburg German Red Cross.
All participating artists will waive their fees in support of the charity. Under the title ‚Magnificent Opera Moments’ soloists from the Deutsche Oper am Rhein together with the Duisburger Philharmoniker will perform highlights from both operas and operettas.
In co-operation with Theater Duisburg and the DRK-Kreisverband Duisburg e. V.
