Denn was die drei Jazzer aus Norwich mit hypnotischer Intensität präsentieren, ist eine einzigartige Mischung aus spirituellem Jazz im Geiste John Coltranes, der sich mit indischer Musik und Klassik zu unerhört kraftvollen Klangbildern paart. Wobei immer wieder auch Einflüsse von Sufi und schamanischer afrikanischer Trance-Musik, über irische und osteuropäische Folklore bis hin zu Steve Reich und Philip Glass spürbar werden. Ein rauschhaftes Hörerlebnis von erfrischender Modernität, dessen komplexe Rhythmik von harmonisch raffinierten Melodien überglänzt wird. Besser als mit diesen tanzbaren Sounds kann man Miles Davis' Geburtstag am 26. Mai kaum feiern.
