Life on a continent marked by climate catastrophes and violent conflict seems increasingly impossible, so the inclusive ensemble of the KAWUMM project invites you to embark on a journey into space. As the performers share their hopes and longings, the group directed by Franz-Joseph Dieken experiments with a variety of theatrical means without losing their sense of humor.
The day of the premiere is the European Day of Protest for the Equality of People with Disabilities. In cooperation with the City of Recklinghausen's Council Commission for People with Disabilities, the Ruhrfestspiele will present the French, inclusive dance company Mash Up with their choreography "Unidextre" in the morning.
