Why that never actually happens—and just how quickly one can lose oneself in such a fictional character—is revealed as the play unfolds. UnruhrGebiet is a young theater collective that emerged from the Unruhr Festival. Young people aged 15–25, who have already gained experience at youth clubs in the Ruhr region, independently develop their own play over the course of a season. In doing so, they not only perform on stage but also take on all backstage tasks on their own.
